Chassis 11562, car 16525, engine 12011, body 53568. The original build sheet confirms all matching numbers. This Alvis Firefly Tourer with Cross and Ellis Coachwork was restored over twenty years ago. It had repairs to the ash frame at the rear and extensive repairs to the alloy panel work,all bright work was triple plated with copper,nickel and finally chrome. The British racing green and black paintwork is still in excellent condition. The leather coach trim is in green connolly hide,the hood has full side screens and is in in excellent condition. The Firefly was introduced in 1933 and was the replacement for the respected 12-50 model. Mechanically very similar to the SA and SB Speed 20,with four cylinders giving a capacity of 1496cc, with a wilson 110 pre-select gearbox .For more information look at http://www.vdvclassics.com
