This model was only manufactured and marketed in Spain. It was launched in 1974, although the first desings were done in 1969 by Michel Bouè.This exceptional well conservated example is the redesign of 1.979: New traffic Lights, Change on the scoreboard, Replacement of door handles, etcDisappeared in 1982 because of Renault 9 launching.It produced about than 160.000 units. This strange car is not known outside of Spain.
PERFORMANCE. The four-cylinder engine with Solex carburetor (32 SEIA) delivers 50 CV. DIN, a 5.000 r. p. m, 130 Kms/h
HANDLING.The suspension is soft and pilant. Brake pedal has normal travel and stops very well. Steering is confort
TRANSMISSION. The four –speed gearbox changes precise and smoothhly. Clutch is soft and easy to drive. Speeds achievable are 40 kmph 1st, 85 kmph 2nd, 110 kmph 3th, and 130 kmph 4th.
ENGINE. Excellent. The engine is the original unit: 1.037cm3, Renault model 850-99. The motor runs sweetly, and emits no smoke. No oil or water leaks anywhere. Oil-tight and like new.
EXTERIOR TRIM. Looks like new from front to back. It was painted in 2002 with original color. Always in keep in garage. Chromes are escelent. Don´t come better than that.
HISTORY. It was made in Valladolid (Spain), 7th of may 1.979. One lady owner from new. Just 91.000 Kms.
