Just sailed through 2009 plating and as shown at Kemble Steam and Vintage Rally last Summer!
This is a purpose-built horsebox made by Cotswold Horseboxes of Gloucester (no longer trading) using the EA440 petrol engine generally used in Royal Mail vans of that era.
It has only 41k miles on the clock and is understood to have had only 3 lady owners from new - I have owned it for over 12 years.
In lovely condition, it is still used regularly and delivers sufficient power to carry 2 full size horses. It has side and back ramps for easy loading and unloading and carries 2 horses facing forwards.
Very reliable and easy to drive, it is plated to end of July 2010 and taxed to end December - and so cheap to run as it is tax exempt!
A great horsebox or would make a brilliant conversion if you wanted to add living accommodation. May well be eligible to downrate.
