MORRIS MINOR 1000 Four Door Saloon SOLD (1964)
|The Morris Minor is the quintessential British classic car and this example of a 1964 four door saloon is in very good condition as can be seen in the photographs. |
The history file contains the original stamped up "Passport to Service" book, three sales invoices including one from Henlys Limited who sold the car in 1971 for £358, numerous expired MOT certificates and dozens of invoices dating back many years showing parts purchased and work completed on the car including a full chassis restoration by Charles Ware Morris Minor Centre in the 1980's.
The file also contains recent invoices showing that it has had over £2300 spent on it since 2015.
The car benefits from the attactive duo-tone interior which was only fitted between late 1961 and 1964.
It has also been fitted with the useful addition of three extra gauges, water temperature/oil pressure, ammeter and vacuum.
The current MOT runs until May 2017.
Rules that commenced in October 2014 mean that the car will be licensed for 12 months at no cost from the date of sale as it qualifies for the Historic Taxation class.
