Jaguar E-Type FHC 4.2 Manual LHD For Sale (1964) edit C83042 | | | This car is in immaculate condition, matching numbers and totally restored over a period of 5-years.
The engine rebuilt with new parts from the crank upwards, suspension refurbished with new Koni's, tyres, and British-made wire wheels. The gearbox was upgraded with a XJ6 Overdrive unit which makes a nicer cruising car - fitted without any major floorpan modification and the original box is still available for those requiring ex-factory specifcation.
She started life ex-factory as a Dark Green car with light Green upholstery, after her mechanical rebuild the body was treated to a bare-metal respray, oxidised aliminium base-coat, primer and finally her beautiful Primrose Yellow, new weatherseals throughout, and finally the interior was replaced throughout with Black Connolly hide and Black carpeting.
The car is a LHD example which is great for cruising in Europe and has the added bonus of a factory fitted Steel-sliding sun-roof.
Since completion she has had minimal usage and requires absolutely no expense and is rust-free.
