Late model GTC with 4 speed box and overdrive SOLD (1984) C83436 | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | | I have finally come to terms with selling my Scimitar GTC. This is number 413 of the total build of 432 GTC produced by Reliant. Being a late model it has the much desired galvanised chassis which together with the fibre glass body makes a excellent long lasting classic.
I have owned the car for 15 years and am only the fourth person to own the car. I have details of all the previous owners.
During my ownership I have done most of the required upgrades including stainless steel water pipes under the bonnet and poly bushed front suspension, both of which reduce known problems.
Recently I have fitted a new radiator as well as new tyres all round. The car is in excellent condition for a 25 year old car bodily, interior or mechanically. During the last spell of bad weather over Christmas it was used as my day to day car whilst my main car was in the garage.
