1964 series 3 very good condition useable lambretta,engine rebuilt using all genuine italian bearings oil seals clutch etc,good solid original frame still in original paint,all original control cables except for the front brake cable! i restored this scooter about 3 years ago and have hardly used it since!
The front legsheilds horncast and rear foot boards were repainted as the original paint was faded and the side panels were resprayed in the original colours,no major rot before respray,2 new white wall tyres fitted and 1 no. spare with chrome rims,chrome back rest included,new seat cover fitted to restored seat frame!all new stainless steel fixings used through out reasembly also all new rubbers fitted.the engine is totally standard still running on existing 6 volt system! kicks over and normally starts on 2nd kick.RUNS VERY WELL!
This scooter was imported from italy by Nigel Cox when he owned weston scooters,I purchased this from Nigel as a good running usable scooter which with a set of new tyres and a new seat cover passed an MOT! I didnt want to completly strip this scooter and restore from scratch as I feel this kills the originality and as they say a scooter is only original once! priced to sell at a very resonable price,must go due to too many projects on the go!
