This is a beautiful and rust free Datsun 260Z coupe.
This car originated in the US and spent about 20 years of it's life in dry storage which is reflected in the amazing condition of the rust free and original bodywork and structure.
The car was fully recommissioned before it was MOTd and registered in the UK last year. This included new brake and clutch master cylinders, slave cylinders, braided hoses, new fluids throughout etc. The car is UK registered and MOT'd and ready to drive away. (being a 1974 car it is registered as an historic vehicle and tax exempt in the UK)
The US spec 260Z has the iconic 2 seater bodywork shared with the 240Z, but with a 2.6L engine. I've replaced the US emission control carbs with 240Z spec twin SUs for better running and a much tidier engine bay.
The interior is in great condition and the even the dash is uncracked having been protected by a "dash carpet" when it was in the US. The interior is nearly all original and looks great, but is currently missing the covers for the rear suspension turrets.
The underneath of this car has to be seen to be believed. I was going to put stonechip and protection underneath, but as it's so original and clean underneath I've decided to leave it as it is(and just not drive it in the wet!)
The car is fitted with period and very high quality Japanese ENKEI alloys in excellent condition.
I've got loads more photos I can email, or if you want to see anything specific just let me know and I'll take a photo. Please contact me for further information or to arrange to come and see the car.
This is a rare opportunity to buy a 1974 Datsun 260Z Super Samuri.
Manufactured in Japan in 1973 this is an original UK RHD car first registered in August 1974 and is one of just a handful of surviving .....
For sale is a very beautiful example of the iconic 260Z - 2 seater sports car from 1974.
This car has been renovated in 2014, including full service, professional repaint in color Botticelli Blue.
