1975 Frazer Nash Le Mans Replica For Sale
(Chassis numbers 125 to 150 were not used by the factory)
This car was the first built by Crosthwaite and Gardner for the Frazer Nash expert Alan Dunkerley in 1975 . It was built with many original bits as they had enough pieces to build 5 cars (not 6 as some people will say) so they only ever built 5 cars and no more.
Mr Dunkerley owned it for over 30 years using it all over Europe. It was then sold to an American gentleman who had CKL totally rebuild to rally / track spec with all invoices and pictures on file.
Specification includes Close ratio all synchro gearbox, limited slip diff , new Alfin alloy brake drums , foam filled fuel tank , and a Hawker Restorations engine rebuild to their rally spec which goes very well indeed.
The car is 100% reliable and does not overheat in traffic due to its alloy radiator and electric fan installation.
It has new FIA HTP papers and is ready to rally or race . It has been used for hill climbs and touring and it’s fantastic for this kind of use.
The car is fully registered in UK in the vendors name.
In addition the shows its has been built using original parts not reproduction.
It’s the only car of the 5 produced with the correct Frazer Nash log book (not a Bristol 405 etc like the other cars).
A superb machine and very rare.
