1968 Triumph Hearald 13-60 genuine convertible For Sale
|A genuine factory convertible NOT converted from a saloon.|
The car was completely restored in 1993 by a previous owner with a full paperwork and photographic history.The car also had a full engine rebuild in 1998 at 83000 miles now showing 86000 so only done 3000 miles approximately in the last 19 years. The MOT certificates although not complete do show the millage stated to be correct as previous owner stated the car had been laid up for ten years and then reinstated and put back on the road. The engine starts on the button and settles down very quickly, there are no nasty noises and it does not smoke. A recent compression test shows each cylinder between 11 and 12 bar.The car has had new clutch and brake master cylinders, radiator and steering trunions. The chassis was shot blasted and painted and is still in very good order. Body work is extremely good with no rust and excellent paintwork.Chrome work is very good and has new rubber bumpers. The car sits on repro Minilite wheels with very good tyres. Nice interior with new carpets.The hood is in good condition but has one small patch, comes with a hood tonneau and a full tonneau. The car is great fun and easy to drive and is admired where ever it goes.
