Reluctant sale of this appreciating classic. Finished in Luxor Beige Metallic, the paintwork polishes up real nice (an enjoyable car to clean with it's great lines) as you can see in the images - a real head turner and low mileage of just 106k.
There is something about the E34's, this was my second (after a rather boring spell of newer BMW's), I genuinely think they drive better than the modern equivalents.
I've owned the car for 18 months and have had a fair bit of maintenance undertaken - all bills to show for it including the timing belt and major service undertaken in June, plus a replacement heater matrix last winter giving you roasting warm heating.
The car starts on the button and has the trademark sweet straight six sound, no smoke and gear change is smooth with a healthy pull. I've been running it on super unleaded too which seems to give it that extra smoothness! It really drives perfectly, great on the motorway which is when I mainly use at weekends so the mileage will still go up.
Interior is in great condition with a retro brown cloth finish - these cars were built to last, the quality really does show. Exterior has the odd blemish, odd scuffs on bumpers and ding on bonnet. But as I said, I regularly polish to a showroom finish and it does still come up great for 28 years old!
All electrics windows, sunroof (tilt & slide), central locking and electric mirrors.
One of the rear doors has the trademark fault on the actuator, so won't open on the key.
FSH, with some main dealer. MOT expires October 2018.

Manual gearbox, 6 cylinder 5.30i, with 139,500 miles from new. UPDATE: The car was registered new to my father's company (his car and his details in the handbook) in December 1988. I have a photocopy .....
