1968 Fully nut and bolt rebuilt car, stunner drives A1 For Sale
This sympathetically modified MGC has only covered 750 miles since a massive near concourse level rebuild.
Exterior: Finished in our opinion THE BEST MG colour of Tartan red, the bodywork is in as near perfect condition as you are ever likely to find, with no blemishes or imperfections, the chrome work is all new and gleaming, the new Mohair hood is in a1 order and the new chrome wire wheels are also perfect with new tyres..
other than saying the C is perfect there is not a great deal more one can say!
Engine bay; The engine bay is as good as the rest of the car (as can be seen form the pictures) she has had a lot of time and money spent getting her looking superb, and a bit of chrome splashed about to draw a lot of attention at shows!
Underside: Again when you get the torch out and inspect the MGC underneath, there is nothing at all negative to say about her,
all the floors, inner arches, spring hangers, sills etc. are all in very very good order, don't just take our word for it however bring a torch with you and have a look! we have a kneel mat..
Interior: The interior of the car again is in superb order with new cream leather trim set, incl door cards, and other bits and bobs, the head rest seats are in what looks like never sat in condition!
the carpets are superb and the Walnut dash and steering wheel again not only look perfect they look great!
Mechanically: Having driven a few MGC's in my time I must say this is the best I have had the privilege of attacking!
The gearbox is nice and tight and selects cleanly, there is no transmission whine at all, The 3litre engine again is fit as a flea and picks up very well indeed, the remote servo changes the braking for the better allowing for more peace of mind while opening her up making her easier to enjoy.
In summary she is a superb all-rounder which you would have to look long and hard to find an example as good.
Again don't just take our word for it come and view here at our new Halifax showroom.
Should the screen price be paid she will be offered with a warranty (agreed with current owner), 12 months MOT and be meticulously serviced here at WRCC before coming to her new home.
Should you have any questions please don't hesitate to give us a call on the details below

Introduced in October 1967, the MGC was the first ‘high performance’ version of the MGB, using a BMC C series, 6-cylinder engine of 2912cc, developed from that used in the Austin Healey 3000 and Austin Westminster. The MGC was not simply a tuned MGB however, it was a considerably re-engineered car, with new torsion ...

This lovely MGB GT was first registered in September 1979 which makes it one of the last ones produced. I think White is by far the best colour for the later black bumper cars. The body of this car is very straight with very good door shut lines and a very good paint finish. It has the stainless steel sill finishers which ...

My Father purchased this TC in 1993 as a partially dismantled project. A matching numbers, home market car, it had been off the road since the 1960s where it had spent most of its life in Wales (Cardiff reg). I have some letters from the Lady who owned it then. The car was untouched until 2012 when my Father passed away ...
