We are proud to offer for sale this absolute stunning original 1953 Porsche 356 Pre A. This is not a restored car, but a car that has been beautifully preserved for over half a century. An original 59,000 mile car that is in truly remarkable condition.
Chassis # 51299 left the factory in 1953 and was original presented with Azure blue (522) body colour and Beige corduroy interior, this scheme still current on the car. Amazingly this car has only been painted once and the interior is completely original. The corduroy is from the Porsche factory when the car was built new in October 1953.
The panels are all matching to the chassis number and there is no rust on the car anywhere. This car has never been involved in an accident and has never been restored! The car retains all factory gaps which are absolutely amazing, the door gaps are perfect as is the bonnet and engine lid gap. The door bottoms are perfect as is the floors, longdititionals, battery box and all closing panels. All these metal parts are all factory original. They have never been replaced before and are in absolute perfect condition.
There is also a Pre A toolkit and Vigot jack that come with the car. The Pre A toolkit is missing a few items. It has the messko gauge, bag, screw drivers, lug nut wrench, wrenches and hammer. The car also has its spare 16” wheel.
This car is one of the most original 356’s we have ever seen and represents a rare opportunity to acquire a completely unmolested Porsche 356 Pre A Coupe, in outstanding original condition throughout, complete with, tool kit, comprehensive history file and Porsche documentation.
