Porsche 356 Pre A 1954 Matching Numbers For Sale
|Early 1954 Pre A Matching Numbers car |
The car is a restoration project. A diamond in the rough, so to speak.
It's an early 1954 so its a 1953 model outside and 1954 inside.
Most of the parts is with the car, it's 90% complete.
Original engine have been partially restored new bearing in short block, new valves guides and valves in cylinder heads.
Original, need a total rebuild. A single syncro ring need to be change, but everything is there.
All panels are the originals, stamped with the vin number, front hood, rear decklid, doors, instrument panel and alu spacers instrument panel, ignition lock
I have a copy of the original Kardex so i know all the numbers match.
The car comes with most parts, most need restoration, but there are also some new and orginal parts in perfect condition.
Since this is an early car, the outside is like a 1953 with front indicators without horngrill, the 1953 wiper setup, inside its 1954 with the voltage regulator under the dash, this is also with the car ( the one with 4 mount holes). It's build with blue carpet, seats with gray cords, snot green knops, and the color was Adria blue metallic.
Chosen options on the car: Radio, hirsmann antenna, fuel gauge and fog lights.
History about the car:
The car where purchased by a Capt. S.H Sachs in Fulda Germany in August 1954, and later on brought back to the US, and then the car where found in Alabama in 2009 and send back to Europe where it had 2 previous owners befor me, and the former owner had the rust done in it and had the car painted silver ( he wanted the car on the road fast) but its a bad paintjob and the car where made with horngrills witch the car where not born with so i change it back.
I have alot of pictures, and I will take special pictures on demand if you want to see something close up or something. And just ask any qustions and ill try and answer them.
