Willys Jeep Station Wagon V8 PX SOLD (1962)
|With a very heavy heart, Iíve decide to list my extremely rare 1962 Willys Jeep Station Wagon for Sale. Simply due to not enough time and space (especially since I am now moving), I think itís best to pass this fantastic example onto someone who can get it back on the road!|
Quite unusually this Willys Jeep Station Wagon is officially a 1965 model due to the fact it was imported into the UK on that date, but through various Willys Jeep Websites and Forums Iíve managed to confirm it is indeed a 1962 model.
Itís factory 4 Wheel Drive, and would have had an Over Head Valve Straight Six however it now has a Small Block Chevrolet/Chevy 283 (4.6L) V8 with the correct conversion bell housing to pair it up to the Original T90 Transmission (3 Speed Manual).
The Engine is currently out of the Jeep as you can see in the photographs, however I will bolt it loosely in place. The previous owner stated the 283 was checked over and is ready to go back in, but as I say I havenít had the time to check it over myself! The 4 Barrel Holley Carburettor has been fully rebuilt.
Also included it a Disc Brake conversion Kit from the States thatíll bolt up to any Jeep between the years 1946 and 1971, as some of you probably know this isnít exactly a Ďcheap thingí to get ahold of! As well as this, a Brake Servo has been fitted.
As you can see from the photographs the upholstery, particularly the head lining, is immaculate! The Seat covers are also in fantastic condition though a small clean up would probably do them better, the frames are fine as they are though if you want it looking smart those should probably be painted or sprayed.
Chassis is Solid and the body will only need minor panel work before a good coat of paint!
Comes with a lot of bits and pieces (which are now in the boot ready for collection).
The V5 is Present.
Open to Offers or PX for ANY Classic in Road worthy condition (Mini's, MG's, anything).
A £500 Deposit MUST be paid within 24 hours via PayPal, send me a Mobile phone number and I'll text the details. The rest is Cash on Collection or if you're arranging a collection (with something like Shiply who offer the best prices for car collection globally) Bank Transfer or PayPal is also acceptable, however it will need to be paid in full and cleared before the car is collected.
This vehicle is also for sale elsewhere and will therefore be removed once sold.
