1932 Austin Seven RN Box Saloon SOLD

A great example of the ever-popular Austin Seven, with a lovely patina and lots of originality. These box saloons are becoming increasingly difficult to find in this condition. The bodywork is very good, with good paint finish, just a few minor blemishes as you might expect. The structure of the car is very good indeed, with well-fitting doors, good floors and excellent chassis and running gear which is all nice and clean. The car has been well maintained and starts very easily, running very smoothly with good oil pressure - we think it has its original engine. The clutch, gearbox and brakes all work well. The wheels are good and the tyres are nearly new, good battery and exhaust. Even the charging system works, as does the electric windscreen wiper and original Riste horn. The interior of the car has new headlining and there is a sliding sunroof which opens easily. The seats and door cards are original and in a very good state of repair for the age of the car, and should certainly be retained - likewise, the original rubber running board rubbers. The rubber mats in the rear of the car are also original. This is a great little car to drive, with lively performance - in fact, it is the nicest driving Austin Seven I have had the pleasure of offering for sale for a long time. Comes with some history including continuation logbook from 1952, confirming the registration number, chassis number etc. V5C.

We are always pleased to consider part-exchange for other pre-war or early post-war cars, (or for good MGBs) and can offer economic delivery to most parts of mainland Britain.
