Very original drivers car For Sale (1968)
|This very original and matching numbers car drives and stops as it should. It has a clear Danish MOT some months old. Even though the colour is not the original it receives many compliments. In fact the paint job dates back to before 1983 when the E-type was imported to Denmark from the US. So what you see is indeed what you get. Take one look at the pictures and you will see what I mean. During my ownership many things have been renewed: IRS with 2:88, complete brakes, radiator, hoses, seat cushions, carpets, petrol pump and hoses, tyres, wheel bearings, rear engine mounts, exhaust manifolds, safety belts and all instruments cleaned and calibrated just to mention some.|
Yes, it is perhaps not as beautiful as its sibling the FHC, but if you are a full grown man you will appreciate the 2" extra head room, the wider door, the back seat and not least the difference in buying price:-)
Just do not ever park next to a FHC - then it clearly shows.
Anyway, I have enjoyed the ride - I am sure you will do too.
