Mileage: 800 miles
The 356 we have here today is an original RHD UK car registered in 1963. The car is all matching numbers the only change is the paint colour which was originally Oslo Blue and has been changed to Ruby Red (which is an original Porsche colour of this year) The Porsche certificate of authenticity is supplied in the file to confirm the cars history. At some point in this cars history it made its way to America (The original US Registration document is supplied in the file). It was then brought back to Ireland and then sold to Holland which is where it was then purchased again and brought back to the UK.
The car has been subject to a full nut and bolt restoration and now includes a number of GT enhancements. All parts used are either original restored or new Porsche. It originally had circa 60k on the clock which was reset to zero when the clocks where refurbished. A full photographic history of the restoration is present and a file of receipts for all parts purchased.
Body - Completely stripped of all parts and vapour blasted any panels that required replacing or repair where conducted by the renowned Lee Patterson. The panels were supplied by Trevor's Hammer Works in USA (Trevor's panels are supplied and used by to Classic Porsche in Stuttgart). The car was then prepared and painted by Heaton Coachworks a classic paint specialist.
Engine, Gearbox and Running Gear were fully restored and rebuilt by Andy Prill and the engine has had a twin spark conversion with; Shasta (1720cc) pistons and cylinders, lightened flywheel, Kennedy race clutch, Nuetek ZH2 high lift cam, chromoly push rods etc. (Twin Spark Engine works quotation included in receipts file). On the recommendation of Andy Prill the 2nd and 3rd parts of the engine blocks were replaced for 356C, the original blocks are provided as part of the sale. Gearbox and Running Gear was completely stripped rebuilt. All the cars electrics have been restored and upgraded from 6 volt to 12 volt. The wiring harness has been replaced with a Classic Porsche Loom (supplied to Classic Porsche by Y n Z)

The car was restored with the intention of conducting classic regulation rallies. The car is currently showing circa 800miles on the clock and would be described as better than new condition.
