It starts first time and moves however, it does require restoration work: Rust just above the sills, lightly on the arches, nearside front wing is loose at the rear at the bottom:- typical problem from the washer bottle being over filled and water becoming trapped. The boot floor will also need addressing. Plus a full service after standing for so long. Other age related marks.
In terms of an MOT: All lights work as they should, demister works, mirrors are uncracked, windscreen fine, tyres are old and need replacing. Brakes works perfectly with a solid pedal; Wipers work. Exhaust needs addressing.
Both the rare Kent Alloys (£400+) and original starfish alloys are included in the sale
The interior leather is in good condition with the exception of the headlining that has sags as they all do after time.
I'd purchased the car earlier this year for restoration but due to a change of circumstances I can no longer do it. I've priced it to sell so please no silly offers.
A rare chance to purchase at reasonable money a low mileage, good history XJS in a stunning colour combination. Once complete it will be fantastic.
I'm based near Colchester and any viewing or inspection is welcome
