Maserati Quattroporte Series III (auto LHD) For Sale (1983) | | Owned since 1999, my 4.9l V8 QPIII has been fully maintained (regularly serviced) by Bill McGrath Maserati since 1999.
She has current MOT and Tax and all MOTs from 1999. About 50k(km) on the clock and is in very good/excellent condition.
I bought her from a retired Engineer who had her air freighted from the Middle East in 1989 and then kept her in dehumidified storage for the next 10 years - her metal work was in as new condition and she has not deteriorated much in my care - she is in very good/excellent condition.
She is one of about 2000 LHD QP III's ever produced and was written up in AutoItalia Magazine many moons ago and more recently (Sept 08) in a Classic Cars piece "Money no object" by Nigel Boothman.
Bill McGrath know her well and should give an impartial and honest view for any prospective owner. Please note there are some inoperative items such as the central locking. She's always garaged and lives in Hendon, NW London.
Reason for sale? I simply don't use her enough to warrant keeping her, though I'm not desperate to sell.
