Daimler Road rider Deluxe For Sale (1938) 1938 LANCHESTER DAIMLER Roadrider De lux, 14hp, 1810cc.
Car is in unrestored condition, but is in excellent condition. Regularly serviced, regularly driven and garaged.
Overhead valve, 6-cylinder engine, with wonderful pre-select 4 speed gearbox giving easy and quick gear changes. Independant suspension, efficient brakes, light steering, good cruising car. Starts and drives extrtemely well.
Adjustable steering column. Black leather upholstery with charcoal-grey carpets. Wooden dash and door cappings, armrest, folding foot-rests, opening windscreen, lockable boot and doors. Roll-back sun-roof readily allows bride, or whoever, to stand up for photos. Discreet electrical isolating master switch for security. Flashing indicators fitted for safety. Boot lid opens horizontally for additional luggage. No sign of rust anywhere. Painted and wax-oiled underneath and inside body panels. Years MOT and tax. Owned many years by Lanchester Legacy author.
Would stronly consider exchange with anything interesting. Harley Davidson, old English motorcycles etc...
