This is the more desirable Mk1 model, with Marzocchi front forks.
This machine was imported in the early spring of 2016. It is now UK registered with V5 in my name and an age related plate. Although in beautiful condition, I am a cautious fellow and immediately had it sent to Selwyn Motorcycles in Cambridge (the UK Benelli specialist) for a thorough medical.
Apart from a thorough service, they installed a new cam chain and tensioner and Sachse electronic ignition. Timing and carbs were obviously set up, and a new electronic voltage regulator installed. They carried out a compression check which proved to be very healthy. New Bridgestone Battlax BT45 tyres were fitted.

This bike requires nothing, starts on the button, and just works. What can I say. The sound is to die for.
Current mileage is 27,045 kms (approx 17,000 miles), of which I've covered the last 750 miles or so during my ownership.
It was last MOT'd on the 21 July 2017.
It runs on Motul 10/40W semi synthetic oil as recommended by Selwyn.
I am selling simply because I like a change now and then. Life is short.
