I am very fortunate that i have been able to use this car for about 1000 miles since it arrived with us and what a fabulous driving experience it is,it is quite obvious the car has been heavily "tweaked " as it is miles faster than any of these i have driven before and indeed even leaves for dead the 900 Carlsson we have just taken in and comfortably quicker than the 9000 carlsson we have just sold (they are 185 and 205 bhp cars and this should be 175bhp-ha ha!).
During the time i have driven it is has never skipped a beat and drives with absolutely no faults at all,a truly wonderful driving experience as i do find these so very nimble and added to the rip roaring grunt of this car driving becomes fun again.
Unlike many of these the condition is very very good.We have just had a new headlining fitted and the buffalo grey leather is very nice,the electric sunroof works fine and a cd player has been fitted.The bodywork is very sound with no rust evident and sparkling interior door bottoms,the exterior appearance hs further been enhanced by the body colour coding of the bumpers.
The car comes with tax and mot as well as owners manual,service book with 14 service stamps in it,some old mots,service and maintainence dealer printout,quite a number of bills including for a replacement gearbox in July 2005 at a cost of over £1100-the turbo was apparently replaced at the same time.
The towvar was only fitted and used for a bike rack-it has never towed anything.
The car has covered a well cared for 185000 miles which whilst high for most cars is completely acceptable for these sturdy warriors,there are no mechanical issues with it at all and that is pure testament for what is a wonderful wonderful car which i guarantee will put a smile on its new owners face
