Volvo oil filter. Brand new pattern cut matching red carpets. An 80 hour re-spray (Mercedes and BMW specialist). 5 brand new tyres, and balanced. Rebuilt SU carburetors ( Burlen fuel systems). Re-conolised seats, new Pirelli webbing and hooks. 2 brand new correct Volvo door mirrors. New clutch. New twin choke cables. New front panel badge. 2 new wiper blades and arms. New chrome wiper bezels. New chrome Volvo rear letters. Tank sender gasket. New rear lamp lenses. New front and rear and centre bumper grommets. New left and right front and back chrome screen trims and junctions. New front and rear mud flaps and brackets. New left and right roof gutter trims. New left and right door top chrome trims. New left and right door scraper rubbers. New left and right felt channels. New boot floor rubber mat. New door, boot and fuel cap lock set. New wiper post rubbers. New manifold studs. All dials are working, including the clock. The seats have no tears or holes. The inner door panels and chrome handles are in really nice condition.
The only thing I would say, is that the doors need adjusting at the hinges to Make a show car. But please dont let this subtract from its beauty. They still function perfectly well.
As mentioned before, this has been a total of a 5 year restoration, which has also had: inner body sanded and painted with rust proofing. Noise reduction material fitted under carpets, boot and bonnet and through out the car. Underneath has been Waxoyled. And the car is always in a garage, with a fitted breathable cover on, in a dehumidified atmosphere. The car has never seen a drop of rain in all of its 5 years. And has been lovingly polished every weekend. It has never done many miles, as it has been my weekend car. In the winter, I make sure that all is alright and the engine is fired up so nothing seizes. The bodywork is stunning, and I have lost count how many people stop me to see it in more detail. Even in traffic, cars slow down to see it. I will definitely be sad to see it go, everyone who knows me, knows how important to me it is. But the time has come for someone else to enjoy the delights of this car, you will be the envy of everyone.
