Mercedes-Benz Ponton Pickup For Sale (1957) edit C97705 | | | Mercedes-Benz Germany exported in the years 1956 - 1960 400 chassis cab Pontons to South Africa where it was finished as pickup trucks. This was quite a unique operation to boost Mercedes-Benz car sales and it was the foundation of the manufacturing of Mercedes-Benz vehicles in South Africa. A beautifully restored Mercedes-Benz Ponton Pickup has come on to the market. It is available to the connoiseur collector.
