A very rare car. The BMW 325ix Allroad was never offered for sale to the UK market. It was sold in cold climate countries in Europe as well as the US and Canada. Designed with a 4x4 system to compete with Audi's quattro, the 325ix was first All Road BMW you could use in any weather. With slightly higher suspension, constant four wheel drive, 37/63 front/rear torque split and a rear limited slip differential, there is potential for serious grip (and fun) when it starts snowing, or indeed offroad..
Collectors condition inside and out. There are over 200 photographs in the gallery above, we have tried to capture every detail to highlight the beautiful condition of this car. A car for the collector, or one who just fancies something different and rare.
The previous keeper dry stored this car in 2003. Very much an enthusiast, he sent it for Inspection II when he bought it. He stored it and used it for BMW car club shows and the very occasional afternoon out. He covered only 3,000miles in the 7years he owned the car. It has been on SORN for many years. We have recommisioned the car for use and mot'd it for 12months, it is ready to use, show or store. It drives as good as it looks, all is tight, steering is poker straight, auto gearbox is seamless and smooth. 4 brand new tyres fitted for new MOT, matching set. We have have also replaced the timing belt, water pump, battery and alternator and all fluids. Completley recommsioned after its' long time spent in storage and ready for any given journey.
From what we can glean from the paperwork, it was imported to the UK by BMW when new. Then moved onto France in the nineties and back to the UK a few years later.

There is a folder full of reciepts and invoices to verify each of the intervals above, and more to account for gap between 1998 and 2003. Recepits for many thosuands relating to maintenace, old Mot's and more. The low mileage is 100% correct. Another folder with all the issues of ix magazine, maintenence manuals and owner information and much more completes the files of paperwork.
As can be seen from the many pictures, the bodywork is near flawless, not concourse but not far from it. Very very clean all round, not even a tar spot, you can count the total stone chips on one hand, the one by the BMW boot badge is the most obvious. There is only one very minor blemish on the body, just where the door strip meets the wheel arch on the front wing..a small blister, pictured below. There is a very small dent on the bootlid which has been touched in. Aside the trivial chips and dent the bodywork and paintwork is stunning, more like a well cared for three year old car. Its even clean and spotless behind the pristine chrome bumpers. Very well kept, inevitably it has had some paintwork in its time to keep it fresh. Front headlamps are yellow its not paint, the actual glass is yellow, probably for French road regulations.
Interior is immaculate everything is as it should be. The carpets are very fresh, under the mats the foot rests are unused and in timewarp condition. Everything works..manual windows means no electric motor problems, the electric roof and mirrors works fine. Fitted with an Alpine CD player using the original Blaupunkt speakers. Check panel by the rear view mirror works fine. To be critical at all, the blue seats have faded slightly over the years. First aid kit, toolkit etc all present and correct.
