This rare small frame model Vespa from 1968 is in excellent condition for its age (though not mint). Reliable starter and a perfect runaround for the summer months...
Genuine reason for the low mileage - New Speedo was installed in 2001- The previous owner believed it to have been approximately 37,000 before he changed it.
As you can see from the pictures the scoot does have a tidy paint job and the body is sound with only the tiniest patches of surface rust on the bottom. It would make an easy project to get to mint for the owner so inclined, although it is fine as is for a casual rider.
There is NO m.o.t currently. It failed on rear lights (constant and brake) which require rare 6v bulbs that are easy to purchase online. Brakes are fine and the clutch was re set up by a local scooter boy with new cables etc.
I am selling because i crashed my ET2 Vespa, fracturing my thumb and foot, and i'm a little road scared having had a couple of hairy moments with partially blind car drivers. I have therefore set a low asking price to account for the cost of another M.O.T etc, though i will listen to serious offers.
