Are you looking for a genuine low mileage Spitfire? My 1980 1500cc twin carb Spitfire with overdrive is a very original and completely unmolested 25,000 mile car. The underside of this car is so clean the original paint finish is still visible. The bodywork is all original and superb. There is a history file which comes with the car showing all receipts/mot certificates and the original triumph handbook in the silver dealer presentation wallet provided by Henleys is present too. The interior is also in good original condition with the wooden dashboard, Triumph steering wheel and seats just as you would expect to find on a car that has covered so few miles. The soft top is in good condition and comes with a full tonneau and half tonneau cover. All the controls work on this car, there is nothing in my opinion that needs any attention. The car benefited from a full major service earlier this year, this included: New points, condenser, distributor cap, plugs, oil, oil filter and fresh lubrication to all grease points, hinges and a new rubber fuel line in engine bay. Valve clearances and timing have been adjusted along with the twin carburettors. The original ‘turn o lock’ radio is present and still works. Mot and taxed.
