Unmolested Original White GTi SOLD (1989) | | | Not for sale - it has been sold via a Car and Classic Free Ad | White Peugeot 205 GTi 1.6, regd. August 1989. All-original undamaged bodywork and screen, 51K miles, three previous owners. Recent work includes complete new exhaust, timing belt and water pump, full brake overhaul, and new steering lock (to cure occasional cutting out). Only additions to the original car are a short-throw gearshift, aftermarket elec.windows and a recent immobiliser/alarm. The car is watertight and the interior is still fresh.
Known faults are: creaks from steering (struts); slight superficial rust above screen; digital clock has poor elec.contact. Clutch is fully operational but 'could be better'.
A remarkable car that has been used, but well looked after - it was not 'prepared' in any way for the photos.
