The first East Coast run took place in 1969, organised by a number of bus enthusiasts. The EYTCC took over organising this event in 2005.
This event in 2013 saw over 700 vehicles take this now iconic route between Hull and Bridlington. The route is lined with well wishers at every stopping place so taking part is an experience
not to be missed. A spectacular for everyone to enjoy.
Free Entry at the starting and finishing venues for spectators or a small fee to enter a vehicle. The run is open to any vehicle 15 years or older; expect to see classic and historic Buses, Commercials, Military and Emergency vehicles. Vehicle entrants receive a commemorative plaque and classes are judged at Sewerby with the winners receiving a trophy, don’t forget the best in show award.
There will be a selection of Auto-Jumble and Charity Stalls, Food and drink outlets will also be on site.
Attendees range from the far North of Scotland to the South of England.
