Event Description:
Take a trip down memory lane as Castle Combe welcomes back the awesomely popular Autumn Classic for its third year. Nicknamed the ‘Mini Revival of the South West’ this event is growing in size and popularity with Formula 3 500s, historic Aston Martins, VSCC Pre War Sports Cars, the FiSCar “50’s Inter-Marque’, the ‘Norman Dewis Trophy’ Jaguar Enthusiasts Club and Formula Junior single seaters. Proper ‘blast from-the-past’ racing like they did it in the ‘good ol’ days’! The Action Days attract a number of Owner’s Clubs and we often have 100+ displays for people to view. We also offer Trade Areas and can have a number of stands for spectators to wander around. The majority of the Action Days often have passenger lap charity rides run by third parties. We may have additional entertainment and there are plenty of viewing areas plus a lovely walk all the way around the circuit for some great track viewing.
Highlights of the Day… Celebrating the 60th anniversary of Bristol Cars famous 1,2 ,3 at Le Mans. Track displays from the Nick Mason collection and an attack on the Steam powered car lap record.
