The topbeurzen Benelux undoubtedly hear the Antwerp Classic Salon which soon takes place from Friday 6 to Sunday, March 8th, 2015 in the familiar halls of Antwerp Expo. This year will be welcomed a special guest.
Antwerp Classic Salon this year to its 38th edition. The supply of international vintage car and classic car dealers and specialized restoration companies is again very rich and exclusive. 12,000 sqm (of a total of 20,000 sqm) are more than four hundred automobiles 'in all states' for sale, many of which undoubtedly owner will change. Internationally known restoration companies demonstrate their specialty and inform visitors, bringing traders and collectors how professionals 'oldies' in top condition. There is about two kilometers to stand for new and used parts, accessories, interiors, maintenance, scarce literature, nostalgic automobilia, miniatures, curios and art themed vintage / classic cars, and much more.
Theme of the Salon is '80 Years of Jaguar Sporting History. At the show stand will see the most legendary Jaguars are: SS100, Jaguar XK120 (rally version), C-type, D-type, E-type Semi Lightweight, Mark I Touring Race car, XJ12C Broadspeed, XJS by TWR (winner 24 Hours of Francorchamps 1984) XJR9 (winner 24 Hours of Le Mans) and Jaguar XJ220.
During the opening of this show stand on Friday afternoon will be present as special guest: Mr. Norman Dewis. This 94 year-old former test pilot of Jaguar and his race team is a living legend with an impressive automobile cv. He developed several legendary Jaguars, including the C-type, E-type and the prototype XJ13 with central engine. Also on Saturday morning will be Mr. Dewis show themselves on the show stand.
On Saturday, March 7th, the assessment instead of all the club stands by an international jury and club representatives. This is especially a lot of attention to the finest and most original club presentation and the most creative design of the club stands. Besides this club stand price is chosen in cooperation with the Belgian Federation of Ancient Vehicles (BFOV) a Concours d'Elegance organized with the most beautiful cars on the club stands by a professional jury of Belgian and Dutch experts.
Something that all exhibitors and again to watch, is the annual "Meguiar's Concours d'Elegance. A very professional jury of Belgian and Dutch experts in the field of classic cars selects all stands the three most beautiful cars in three age categories (1885-1955, 1956-1975 and 1976-1990). Also, the jury here, 'The Best Car of Show '.
The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, March 8th around 12:00.
