Residents of Somerset will notice an array of magnificent cars driving throughout the county on Sunday 3rd May as a gathering of vintage, classic and interesting vehicles make their way to Downside School for a Concours d’Elegance.
The first event took place last summer and is making a return to the elegant Stratton-on-the-Fosse site due to popular demand.
Last year, over 100 cars were on display. This year is likely to be even more popular with cars such as a 1904 De Dion Bouton, a 1926 Bugatti T23 Brescia, a 1936 Squire, plus Giles Cardozo’s ‘Sky Car’ on display – with over 60 cars already confirmed the event is set to be spectacular.
The event will run from 12noon until 4.30pm. Light lunches and afternoon teas will be on sale, and there is free parking for all visitors. Members of the public can purchase tickets at £5.00 per adult by visiting the online shop and tickets can also be purchased on the day.
