We are Glossop Arts & Leisure Association (GALA) and our event is a carnival weekend held in Manor Park Glossop, Derbyshire This year it will be on 1 & 2 July 2017. The car show is on the Sunday of the event only.
We take over Manor Park and have a weekend of family entertainment including local dance schools, brass band, fairground rides, charity & craft stalls and refreshment stalls. We invite anyone with a classic car to bring it along on Sunday 2 July-vehicles should arrive between 9am & 10.30am (for health and safety reasons, we do not allow any vehicle movement in the park from 10.30am - 4.30pm) Judging of the cars is mid afternoon with all entrants receiving a certificate. Winners also receive a trophy which they hold for one year until the following year's event.
