1952 BSA M33 Plunger 600cc sidevalve engine fitted For Sale
This bike has had a full rebuild, the frame striped cleaned and checked ,sprayed in black, the forks have had a complete rebuild with new seals bushes ,new seal holders, rear plunger overhauled and many parts replaced, wheel rims replaced along with stainless steel spokes, new tyres and tubes, hubs overhauled bearings and seals replaced, gearbox overhauled new bearings and seals new bushes, new kick start ratchet ,engine has had the same with new bearings and seals, the bore is excellent new piston rings vales and guides ,chronometric speedo, new cables, new wiring loom, new levers, magneto overhauled and tested, dynamo rebuilt ,control box replaced and fitted with electronic unit , dating certificate from BSA owners club stating frame number ZM20S.1098 supplied to Leventus Ltd London 8Th May 1952, the engine supplied to Angus Motors Seven oaks Kent 3Rd October 1957 number BM21.11017, the engine has not been run up yet ,and a age related number has been applied for ,ready to use with a few tweaks expected, there is on eBay a crank case for a M33 if anybody wants to convert it back to a 500cc OHV, tat i might buy and convert it back it would be worth a lot more money
We found a bsa m21 , 600 sidevalve in army trim.
6 off these bikes where made for the swedish army .
that was the total production .the bike appeared to be to heavy and slow for army use.
