The bike was originally despatched to Owens Garage, Rubery in May, 1950 and was first purchased by a Mr. Fox of Bromsgrove.
It was subsequently purchased by a Mr. Joe Bridges who professionally restored the bike during the period 2005-2007. This was a comprehensive engine and cycle parts rebuild, coupled with a beautiful paint job and with attention to detail, such as a colour-matched foot pump. The original registration number was recovered as part of the restoration.
There are some “before and after” pictures associated with the rebuild and some receipts and MOT certificates. Additionally, there is certification by the BSAOC that the bike has matching numbers. Since its restoration, the bike has had two previous owners and has covered less than 3,000 miles.
The bike starts and runs well and the 6 volt electrics all work. This is a great example of this classic BSA. Delivery arranged anywhere UK Mainland for £85 when purchased at stated price.
