Early (small rear window) Alvis TA21 3 litre straight six, Matching original chassis and engine numbers.Keeps up easily with modern traffic, stops well having hydraulic brakes.
Born in 1951 and registered in Lincoln, supplying dealers plate still on the dashboard. I bought it from a gentleman in Newark. I have the original build sheets and buff log book, an MOT from 1974, some bills for restoration and some photos before restoration but not much more of its early history.
It has had lots of money spent over the last 3 years at Red Triangle (marque specialists) including: refurbished carburettors and manifold, all brake shoes, brake master cylinder, rear wheel bearings, fuel filler and breather hoses, anti roll bar bushes, shock absorbers, engine mounting rubbers, o/s rear hub, all new trunions, o/s front wheel cylinder, voltage regulator and I have service history during my ownership, last service May this year.
Excellent engine, chassis and body work, stainless steel exhaust. The interior is good but has not been refurbished, so bear in mind it is 65 years old. MOT exempt and road tax is free. Any inspection or questions welcome, come and have a look and kick the tyres which are all good. Has a working non leaking sun roof, has been valued by Red Triangle at £16000. Would make an excellent wedding/prom car.
I will MOT it for the new owner if required.
£13995 or near offer.
