1990 Classic Fiat PANDA 4x4 SISLEY for sale For Sale

A rare opportunity to acquire an excellent version of this rapidly emerging iconic car.

For sale is a restored classic FIAT PANDA 4X4 SISLEY , 1990 with just 58 795 miles from new in glorious Agadir metallic blue.

I bought this car in June 2016 following it’s full restoration and I have spent over £1500 maintaining the car including newly rewired head lights, starter motor shock absorbers and brakes. It has been garaged at night.

Having moved to a rural location and sold my MK 2 Golf GTI after 18 yrs ownership I hankered after the type of car that would provide quirky and fun motoring to get me to work. The Sisley did not let me down once. A car with personality and history. The Sisley was the original limited-run model which stuck around with certain unique features including : inclinometer, ribbed seats, white steel wheels, bonnet vent and roof rack ,(in this case the only non original part) Ferrari re-claimed headlamps giving it that distinct look and not forgetting the canoe badges. As you can see from the photos this car is in great shape and it’s been a real privilege owning it. I am selling as the house & garden are the projects in need of renovation.

The details:

Bought from Marpol Vehicles in South Wales in June 2016. (the car was mentioned in June 2016 CAR magazine - it was the one the motoring journalists were not allowed to take out ).

The previous owner undertook all the work ( when i bought it at 49 526 miles). The details are extensive and cover 3 pages of restoration works and parts. -let me know if you would like this list. He had seen the car growing up in Wales and bought it from a lady. The V5C document states 6 previous keepers since April 1990.

Since then I have used my local garage to upgrade the headlights and get the heater to direct heat into the cabin and undertake the work to get it through the most recent stringent MOT which it passed with minor defects . The MOT expires 23. 05. 2019.

The MOT defects stated were a nearside and offside track rod end ball joint dust cover .

A full service was completed on the 26/ 04/ 2018.

A unique car in many ways. Reliable, peppy with a swiftness that surprises. Pulls strong and is happy switching between 4x4 and 2 without any mechanical issues. Everything works as should however the headlights whilst they dip might be set the reverse way round (so the headlight symbol shows).

The advisories on the MOT include some light play in two wheel bearings, the suspension arms have a little wear and both front brake calipers have excessive play leading to a slight rattle, and a small oil leak which is not excessive.

The only issue I found is the nearside passenger door handle that needs a screw to reattach.

Please feel free to get in contact and view the car.
