Rare RHD AMC Javelin SST.
AMC sold RHD kits directly to the UK in 1969,they had the higher spec and the 343ci power plant. The Javelin was a direct competitor to Fords Mustang and had a longer wheelbase giving better rear legroom. Styling was really nice and performance was excellent with a wide range of engine options. The Javelin is a great alternative to the now high priced Mustang.
I have the car over two years,it was fully restored by the previous owner to a very high standard. Since I have it I added some of my own touches to it.
Had the seats trimmed,Got the windows tinted.
Added the Matt Black to the Hood.
Front and Rear AMC Spoilers
Cibé Spot lamps
New 5 Spoke Wheels and Tyres.
Javelin Sun Visor
New Roller Rockers and HD Pushrods
New electric fan.
New Fuel Pump
Parts for the Javelin are readily available in the US so no worries there.
Car looks great and the underside is as good as the top.
It looks stunning and a credit to the last owners skills
It drives great and I have done many long trips with no issues. It cruises all day long at motorway speeds and you could hit over the 100MPH on Autobahns with ease. Every where it goes it gets noticed with its original Big Bad Orange paintwork. It stands out at shows and I haven't seen another here. I have had American cars for the last 15 years and would like to look at other makes and models I like. I am not pushed to sell and will only do so if I get the right price. With prices of average non restored Mustangs and similar getting out of reach this rare RHD has to be fantastic value. To restore a car nowadays can cost tens of thousands so to get one already done is a great way to save on cost and time.
Thanks for looking and please mail, text or call for more details. Car is located in Dublin Ireland and was imported from the UK so it would be easy to re register.
Would consider trade in of other 60's 70's 80's classic. Interested in small fast...
