The BMW Z8 is based on the Z07 Concept that was revealed at the 1997 Tokyo Auto Show, eventually being put to production in 2000. Although a totally new design, the Z8 did take much inspiration from the iconic 507 from the 1950s.
Sharing its power-train with the E39 M5, the Z8 is equipped with a 4.9-litre V8; potentially one of BMW's finest, capable of producing around 400 bhp and a 0-60 time of sub 5 seconds.
Although it did share the engine with the M5, the Z8 remained a breakthrough concept for the brand, mainly through its aluminium space-frame chassis construction, placing it firmly at the top of the product range.
The lovely example we are offering was produced in 2000 and is finished in the classic colourway of Titanium Silver over Black Nappa leather. This car maintains its factory fitted body-coloured hard top as well as a black electric soft top. This car has been freshly serviced and is ready to be enjoyed by its new owner! 12,869 miles.
