Our customer has asked us to offer this car for sale 'as is' due to him having far too many cars in his collection.
It is a 1912 Ford Model T that was last used in Connecticut in 1977. It is a lovely early open cab car with brass windscreen and support rods, brass radiator and acetylene lamps.
As you will see from the selection of photos the car will require a full restoration. The body is in totally amazing condition and the chassis/ axles etc are all nice and sound being clearly visible for inspection.
A slightly later engine and rear axle have been fitted and the engine has the original car number dating it from April 1912. It matches the original USA title and NOVA making UK registration very straightforward. The engine turns over freely with good compression.
Being a member of the Model T Ford Register GB will certainly help with restoring this amazing car. We can also offer any help required.
The car has an interesting Eisemann magneto conversion, and the original rear passenger swivel rail.
The original upholstery is still on the rear squabs.
Please feel free to call Richard Skinner to discuss this car and viewing recommended. We have several other Ford T's for restoration. the details below.
