This is a great vintage tourer car in nice original condition. We use the car regularly and it has always been reliable and provides an enjoyable ride! It is a very spacious car with plenty of room for passengers.
The car has had just 3 owners from new, one of which owning it for several years from the mid-50's to 2007. During that time it was used for many continental rallies and regularly attended various events with the Humber Register. The Humber Register is a very welcoming car club, we have been members of it since owning this vehicle and have attended some very well organised events and had a great time.
The car comes complete with all weather equipment, i.e. hood bag and tonneau cover. It also has the rear ulster screen for the back seat passengers. Since my purchase of the car, I have replaced all four tyres, the brake and clutch linings and the dyno-start and magneto were redone four years ago. Last year the engine had an overhaul including new valves and a top end rebuild.
The interior trim on the car is 100% original, never having been touched.
It comes with the original buff logbook and a file full of paperwork and photos all relating to this vehicle providing a great history to the car. The engine and chassis numbers on the car both match with those on the logbook and we also have some engine spares for the car which came with it when I purchased it.
This is a regrettable sale, and has been a difficult decision to make but we want to purchase a vintage car that has been in the family for years and has a lot of sentimental value, hence the final decision to sell.
Any viewings are more than welcome and if anyone has any questions or require further information relating to this vehicle, please do not hesitate to contact me.
