This is a really nice MGB Roadster in Blaze red, with a very attractive black interior, and in excellent condition throughout.
The car shows only four former owners on the V5 and the previous keeper owned it for seven years. Bodywork and structure are in very good order and the car drives really well. Although now both road tax payment and MOT exempt there is a new advisory free MOT which runs until 3rd July 2019. The car is HPI clear.
These late sixties chrome bumper MGBs are now amongst the most desirable models, having an excellent gearbox with synchromesh on all forward gears, the traditional black crackle finish toggle switch dashboard, and in this case a fully functioning overdrive on 3rd and 4th. They are a little easier to live with in modern traffic conditions than the very early cars yet retain the character which is unfortunately very much diluted on the later rubber bumper models.
This example has an excellent black mohair hood and a very good hardtop will also be included at the asking price.
Indicated mileage is 7,700 and the car has a small history file containing numerous MOTs and invoices going back over 10 years.
There are many MGBs on the market today but few in this condition, ready to use and enjoy immediately and also an excellent investment for the future.
Please call me on the details below if you would like any further information or to make an appointment to view the car at my premises in Burwash East Sussex.
