The car was imported to Switzerland 1986. In 1997 the engine was overhauled and since then only 5.000 KM has been driven. The car is in a very good condition and for the last 30 years has been immaculatly looked after in Switzerland by its last two previous owners. All work done on this car has been carried out by Healey specialists. We have invoices in the amount of Sfr. 60.000.- The car has a very beautiful patina and had the MOT done in 10. 2015, including Veteran status.

Wann genau und wie der Austin Healey dorthin gelangt, ist kaum mehr zu rekonstruieren…..! Eines aber ist anzunehmen: Donald Healey schaffte den Wagen höchst eigenhändig nach Italien. Immatrikuliert wird der Wagen dort 1956. Der Austin Healey wurde für verschiedene bekannte Rallye Einsätze in Italien mit dem Modifikation Le Mans Kit nachgerüstet! Im folgenden Jahren steht er angeblich am Start der letzten Ausgabe der „Mille Miglia“ – möglicherweise sogar von Donald Healey selbst oder mindestens von einem Teamangehörigen.
1960 fährt Chassis Nu. 226075 des Mendelpass-Rennen, ein klassisches Bergrennen bei Bozen. Eine Plakette an seinem Vorderteil zeugt heute noch davon.....!
