1962 BSA Rocket Gold Star,Superb Show Winning Example For Sale
Registered April 1962,this is quite possibly the best Rocket Gold Star on offer today.
Fully authenticated by the VMCC (dating certificate present, detailing despatch from BSA & supplying dealer details etc),I have owned this low owner example for 9 years, during which time it has been maintained regardless of cost.
Regularly ridden during summer, the bike has received many complimentary comments - also winning 'best in show' awards at Hoghton Towers and Howarth annual classic shows (ridden to the locations on both occasions...).
Original RGS features still present (RRT2 gearbox,190 mm front brake,QD headlight,Dunlop alloy wheel rims, petrol tank, seat, etc).
A selection of parts recently replaced or refurbished include:
Mag refurbished by Tony Cooper
Speedo and rev counter restored by David Woods
Stainless fasteners throughout
Stainless control cables + loads more
Super to ride,& easy starter, this is a genuinely
reluctant sale, and,as such,I would appreciate genuine calls only.
Any further details etc.,please call 01282 699248 and I will do my best to provide full and honest answers.(If no answer, please leave a message and I will return your call asap).
