1970 Sunbeam Rapier fastback SOLD
Inspection is recommended as opinions and standards differ. Having said that this must be one of the prettiest cars still in existence. New everything that matters. Before painting very little welding was needed, mainly small holes in the floor by the outriggers and one small patch on drivers sill. All welded repairs are invisible i. e. shaped steel let in and not patched. All box sections under the car have been heavily waxed then filled with fireproof expanding foam to prevent sweating, the complete underside has been heavily waxoiled. All mechanical components rebuilt. Rebuilt Holbay engine with new pistons and lead free modified head. I bought a 30k mile Hunter GLS from a guy breaking it for the engine and fitted the velour interior which is a mod I carried out many times in the 70’s. Works well I think but you be the judge.
To all the ‘experts’ who no doubt will comment on social media, I don’t care that it’s not original and the new owner won’t either, they will just enjoy the wolf whistles when you go out! Price is OVNO

This is a very reliable Sunbeam 90 Mk. III. The two-tone paintwork is relatively tidy, although though is some paint crazing on the front wing and a bit of rust creaping in to the bottom of the doors. The interior is nice, although the headlining will require some attention. Please also note the fuel gauge does not work. ...

This 1964 Sunbeam Alpine Series 4. I bought it during lockdown , possibly slightly drunk. I’ve had loads of fun tinkering and renovating it internally. It’s got an electric overdrive that allows smooth easier top speeds. Mechanicals are really good and the chassis is completely rust free and under sealed. New brake ...
