Bentley S1 Saloon, year 1959.
Colour: two-tone, black over silver combined with a dark red leather interior and carpet.
This gorgeous left-hand drive (LHD) Bentley S1 saloon is in excellent condition and the automobile drives perfectly.
The last owner has spent a lot of money to bring this fine Bentley to excellent condition, the body was given beautiful new paint and the interior was upholstered brand new using first class leather.
All the wood panels in the interior are beautifully varnished.
This ultra-luxurious Bentley features a 4.9 Litre six-cylinder engine which is mated to a 4-speed automatic gearbox.
The engine runs very smooth and the gearbox shifts silently and decisively.
Also fitted are power steering and servo operated brakes, the level of assistance is superb; the big and heavy automobile can be steered and handled with a minimum of effort from the driver.
Recently the brakes were fully rebuilt, and new tyres were fitted.
The Bentley S1 is a rare automobile, only 3170 examples (RHD & LHD combined) were hand-build in the period 1955 - 1959.
This is a hard to find LHD example in excellent condition!
