In 1984 Porsche introduced the 911 3.2 Carrera, the first 911 to feature the iconic Carrera badge as standard. Due to advances in engine reliability this car was unique in its ability to be used every day, something that couldn’t be said by most of its rivals at the time. The new 3.2 litre engine also meant that the 911 could now effortlessly exceed 150mph, meaning owners could go on long journeys or tour with their cars while still being comfortable, an accolade which still stands.
The 911 Carrera `Sport` featured front and rear spoilers, 16 inch Fuchs wheels, Bilstein shock absorbers and electric sports seats as standard, whilst later variants featured the G50 gearbox.
Finished in the classic colour scheme of guards red with black interior, it was supplied new on 07.05.1986 through Malaya Garage Billinghurst and still has all the original tools, tool roll and original book pack together with matching service book.
Although a recent Porsche Classic radio has been fitted, the original factory supplied Blaupunkt head unit will be supplied with the car.
A really sharp looking 80’s 911 that drives as well as it looks.
