Beautifully restored in its original Old English white over the last 4 years. Only 59,800 miles from new with service receipts and mots to confirm. This is virtually a nut and bolt restoration with over 1000 hours spent on bodywork, suspension and running gear. All work has been documented by way of photographs over the past 4 years and all receipts for new parts ( £7500 ) are available. This car was originally supplied in Old English white with French blue interior in June 1973 by Henlys Jaguar of Bristol and there is a Jaguar Heritage Certificate issued in 2003 to confirm this with matching numbers. During the interior refit the interior colour was changed to red which now gives a striking contrast yet maintaining a period look. The mechanical overhaul includes all new suspension , rear axle rebuild , inboard handbrake rebuild , all new brakes , new clutch , carburetors blasted and powdercoated and much more. All in all the restoration cost was around £57,000 and the result is one of the finest V12 E types on offer. It was MOTd ready for the road in August 2017 but has only covered 20 miles since and I will be happy to sell with a further 1 years MOT although no longer necessary. This car was previously advertised for £100,000 but I think this new price is compassionate to the classic market.
