Regretfully up for sale our Sunbeam 90 Drophead . We've had this eight years and now three small children means shes become somewhat impractical. Its been replaced by a Citroen DS Station wagen.
Shes starts well , drives well with good oil pressure. Ive done a lot of work on her over the years - unleaded conversion , leather seats , new hood , starter mtr , fuel pump , rad recore , electric fan etc.... and a respray in the original colour . Ive just driven back from london non stop . She really runs well.
Its the rarer early model with built-in foglamps which is nice and has the bigger 2 litre motor. Its a heavy car so the bigger mtr is great .
Steering is the old worm and peg not rack so that shows the cars design age .
There's a good pack of paperwork with it - its been in regular use since its first sale back in '50. It was a bristol car .
It does drive well but there are still things to do so consider it an ongoing project . Any one interested just email and I will send my phone number to discuss it. Its an appreciating classic so any effort spent on it will be rewarded.
